hi guys - I have different sounds assigned to my texts, bbm's etc. lately, the text sound has been going off but when I check, theres no text at all.
or sometimes the text sound will go off and I'll have no text but I'll have a whatsapp message or bbm message (but both of these have different assigned sounds?)
any help would be appreciated!

Are they showing up in your main message folder? Also, have you done a battery pull....not trying to be Mr. Obvious here, but....

yep I've done a battery pull more than once and still having the problem. nothing else showing up in my main message folder either. its driving me mad!

Are you sure you don't have notification coming in from other apps, such as news apps?

nothing. I've checked everything, all apps etc but no unread msgs anywhere. very annoying
