Took a while to download but all seems good. Gmail, contacts, calendars etc all still sync wirelessly.

Downloaded last night. Not sure if it installed properly. Anyone else lose the "device analyzer"? It still shows up under Application Management, however the option is gone now. And this is kinda weird, but my LED lightning longer blinks blue when connected to my PB. It still does when connected to any other bluetooth device.

Device Analyzer is now hidden, and has been in the last few OS builds. Just go to options and type BBDA to enable it.
Same with the flashing blue LED for bridging, that went some time ago too.

I'm not showing that update to be available. I'm currently running 7.1.0.569. Is 2108 newer?

Bundle 2108 is OS 7.1.0.746 which is much newer than .569
You need to be running a Telus official OS for the OTA update feature to work. Use Desktop Manager instead.

Desktop Manager is saying there are no updates available. Is that because I don't have an official Telus OS installed?

No, DM will work either way. The update probably hasn't rolled out in your area yet... you must also have a Telus supplied handset.

This bundle isn't available via the software site for DM updating as yet -- it still lists 7.1.0.267 as the latest available for Ontario.

Thanks Phill! You're a lifesaver! I actually used the device analyzer a fair bit. I was just about to wipe my phone and reinstall.

I the original poster...am in Ontario on Telus. I found it through OTA. My phone is Telus purchased but is now unlocked (about 2 months now).

The device analyzer is hidden now but still functions through tests I have been able to have scoremobile and some other apps.

The blue flashing light is now gone with the playbook...but I like that as I was constantly looking over at the phone as it flashed.

So are there any new features in this build? I'm currently using the previous Telus 7.1 build and getting good battery life and performance. I don't want to upgrade just for the sake of upgrading but would like to know if there's anything I'm missing.

Frankly the feature I'm still waiting for is an onscreen touch-pad for phone dialing (like on the 9800 / 9810 models). That would be sweet.

You can now set colours for the LED flash with bebuzz or something similar.
Not really a huge upgrade but I have noticed an overall better performance, less lag time for sure.
