Telus 7.1 is out
Did my usual handset check for updates this morning and there is nothing available; 7.0 is still current according to the OTA updater.
BUT...when I plugged in to Desktop Manager to sync my calendar it informed me that an update is available;
So here we go.............7.1 Bundle 921 (v7.1.0.267, Platform 5.1.0.230)
An update of BlackBerry® Device Software version 7.1 is available. This update includes optimizations and enhancements approved by your wireless service provider. Note: If your device is associated with an email account that uses a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, contact your administrator for more information about updating. - 03-09-2012, 11:31 AM

Weird I just checked and even their website still says 7.0.0.858 is the current update.

DM will show a carrier OS update way before it's available from RIM's software download site.
So Mikey... was the update for 7.1? - 03-09-2012, 11:41 AM

What you see in the first post is what I know so far; it says v7.1 Bundle 921 (v7.1.0.267, Platform 5.1.0.230)
I had to download an update to Desktop Manager first. - 03-09-2012, 11:44 AM

I assumed SK tel was Sask Tel.
Anyway; Telus is out; I'm installed, everything seems to work. Mobile Hotspot is on-board of course; how do I tell if the wifi calling or UMA is enabled? -

I won't get the DM pop up for this because I already have the leaked OS 7.1 installed on my Telus phone. But it would be nice to see an official update from Telus, which used to be like AT&T when it comes to releasing new OS versions for their BlackBerry users.

What version of the OS is pushed to your DM? Is it a newer version than the 7.1.0.267? The RIM's Telus Download page has not been updated yet; https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/D...84132DE5.node1
