Just need an official OS not leaked
Since I'm not on t-mobile I don't get it through their site n it asks for login info

.258 was seen running on some 9900's at DevCon earlier this year. After the exhibition .258 did release for a couple of devices (9810 and 9360) but it never released officially or leaked for the 9900... we got .267 instead.

OS builds are device specific. You can't install one meant for another device on your 9900.
Why this obsession with .258 anyway? It's old, and there any many better/newer versions out there for the 9900.
If you insist on using an OS from that time, then try .267 or .284

I see,, well i have seen devices running on it, but i haven't really saw it officially launhed anyway, just like you said
Well its cause my ISP haven't released any of the 7.1 yet! and every time i upgrade to OS 7.1 from different carriers i have issues with touch screen its just not responsive and i live in middle east, and we have summer here so its just impossible, besides that it wont even let the backlight bright up so just and some other issues like volume goes up
I have talked to my carrier and they just as far as i know will release .342 (which yes i have had installed and its fine but there are issues) so just i wanna try the earlier released 7.1 OS's because back then when it was released i just was new to my phone and never thought of upgrading.
