I have searched through a few different threads about this issue and have tried battery bulls, deleting and reactivating the email account, going into my email inbox and deleting the messages there, and nothing has worked so far.

Last night I bought two things from 7Digital on my PlayBook and deleted the emails on my phone without opening them. Now, the emails are gone but the notification still shows that I have two unread messages. I have gone through the messages folder and the email folder for that individual account, hoping that there would be something "caught" in one that wasn't in the other, but these two emails are nowhere to be found on my phone.

Any help in deleting the notifications? This is so frustrating!

Have you tried looking in your saved messages?

If so, try a battery pull if not done so already.
