I recently upgraded my 9930 to the latest software version from Verizon. Upgrade went well, but since that time, I've noticed an odd problem when I add an appointment to my calendar. I'm in the Central time zone and have confirmed that my phone is set to Central Time (-6). However, when I add an appointment, the time zone shown in the Add Appointment dialog box is shown as Mexico City - New (-6). I have to change it to the propoer time zone each time. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix I'm missing?

What OS version did you install? I don't have that issue with 7.1.0.580. I have an OTA update pending to 7.1.0 Bundle 2123, but I haven't had time to let it install. If that's the version you installed, I may not want to install it.

Did you go in to the calendar options? Open the calendar and go to its options. Right at the top are some menu entry points. On the second menu you can set the time zones and etc.

Jeff - my current version is 7.1.0.755, which is Bundle 2123. The issue i was having now seems to have resolved itself somehow. When entering appointments now, the proper time zone is showing up.

Jerry - Yes, I did check the calendar options as you suggested. Seems to be working fine, so I'm happy.

usually the cellular network will broadcast time sync information include time zone settings, I didn't had experience once the phone moved 12 timezone east, and my meeting alarms were singing at midnight ... second afternoon everything went back.
