No matter what we 9900/9930 user say the gesture users "just don't get it".

Tell these people why we love our phone, but want an upgrade with better specs using the BB10 OS and not a Q10 with a tool belt.

I had a 9930 that I loved! It was time to move on....
BB10 is a gesture-oriented OS. All-touch is the wave of the future. Embrace it.

Did you use a Q10? Its a wonderfull phone. Try it.
I loved the 9900 (search mu thread history- bought a new 9900 last year because I was in the same thinking like you but actually couldnt use it anymore, after the Q10).
I think now the Q10 is a perfect device.

    Hello JayDee and Q10Bold,

I prefer a mobile device with a tool belt. I would have bought a Q10 when it came out but not tool belt.
    Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes the older technology makes a comeback, don't write off the 9900's yet
Typewriters were consigned to history but are making a comeback in government
Agencies they can't be hacked, they keyboard is not going away yet,
The classic might tempt legacy owners to move to BB10 with Track pad and
Function keys ?, perhaps there should be a 99's club.

i am another 9900 user who prefers a Track pad and call buttons, Q10 and full touch
missing these vital features Until Classic arrives,
    i would join a 9900 supporters club.

I find the assumption touch OS = gestures false. Android is a full touch OS and swiping is down to a minimum thanks to the button layout.

I will always love the productivity of legacy phones and if the almighty BB10 sucks to that complicated gestures style I'll move on and but another BB 9900 for work. I've m mentioned it in another thread but it's unbelievable that Samsung and Apple still haven't figured out how to take advantage of their physical home buttons I.e trackback instead of that gimmick known as fingerprint

I think that you would be amazed at how many people still own 9900's. Look at all the spared parts for sale on Ebay and Amazon. You can almost build a new phone with spare parts. Except no mother board.

Start. Your club by adding people to your "contact" list that share similar beliefs. I try to add someone each time I'm on CB.

I'm typing this on my back in bed on that great 9900. What a phone!

See you guys later in other threads. Gotta love the 9900 loyal users.

BTW, that thread got a little heated up and the BB10 were throwing defensive comments at me faster than I could fend them off.

Some of them still "don't get it", only because 'most' of them never owned a Bold and the ones that did most likely don't type on a desktop keyboard in the normal way.

In the end I think they finally agreed ML/RIM made bad decisions and we as the new BlackBerry family all want BlackBerry to continue making mobile devices.

We OS7 users just what to be hear and don't like being left at the alter.

I'm back on my 9900 because my Z30 has gone in for repair.

Yes, it is a great phone but I can't say I'm enjoying the experience after using BB10 on a flagship BB touch screen.

I can't wait to get my Z30 back but still glad I kept this little fella as a backup.
