Running great on my 9930!!

I will be posting the link in a few hours. About 6 hours or less ill be home and have it up. It will not be an OTA link though. But I will work on seeing if I can make it OTA.

again, this is NOT an OTA file. it must be downloaded on the computer.Thanked by 4:iwashmycar (07-12-2012), jwang217 (04-25-2012), nyplaya610 (11-04-2012), toosweetnitemare (09-26-2012)

Spotify for 9330
Hello,
I am really interested in what you have done regarding the Spotify build for the 99xx phone. I recently started using spotify and was saddened that it will not work on the 9330 curve 3g cdma BB. Is there any way possible to make the two compatible?
Thank you,

Can you provide instructions on how to get the zip onto the 9930 and run it? i'm a bit confused. i can transfer the file to the computer and then the 9930, but how do i open the .jad file and get it to install the program onto the Blackberry itself?

I posted instructions on page 1 of the thread but here they are again
To install it you need to:
1. Unzip the file on your computer.
2. Attach your phone to the computer using a USB cable and choose to attach it as USB storage.
3. Find the unzipped folder (it will be called Spotify-web-4e9d39af) and copy it onto your phone somewhere.
4. Detach the cable.
5. On the phone, go to the Media folder and press the Menu button and select Explore.
6. Find the folder you copied onto the phone and in that folder select Spotify.jad.
7. That will start the installation, so just follow the instructions from there.Thanked by:iwashmycar (07-12-2012)

Thanks VERY MUCH!
Works like a charm! Thanks for posting the instructions again. Sometimes don't see things in the threads. Appreciate your patience with me.
Love Spotify and not being able to play it on my Blackberry was really bugging me!
Thanks. -

Sorry, haven't been on here in a while.
You can set it to offline mode, but would be limited to whatever playlists you "Make Available Offline". i think you can have up to 6,666 songs, though. My wife and I LOVE it, and it's prety much all we listen to now, when we want to hear our old cd's, or a band's full catalog, or create each other "mix tapes" etc. - 06-25-2012, 08:44 PM #46
downloaded on my 9930 (from m.spotify.com) and after i clicked on it to run, it said "disk full, please free up space" or seomthing like that...can't get past that point, and i have an empty memory card along with 5gb free device memory...

It works excellent for me on my 9930.
Crackberry had also taught me to be able to have Kindle on my 9930 and I use that a lot! Awesome!
Why would Spotify not be compatible yet with the 9930? Does it cost them more $, or why? Also for the CDMA Tour, or for any CDMA, they are not compatible yet and being that I'm both curious and technologically dumb, why is that? - 07-17-2012, 08:52 PM #49
hi Jwang217, just register to spotify premium and found out there's no software for my Blackberry 9930, help! please send to my email at dennytriyanto@yahoo.com, much regards!
