Well here is my story.
I am a scout leader for my son's troop. We often camp for 3-4 day with no outlet in site. My previous phone was a Style. I purchased a Solio fold-able charger and it worked great. But now that I have a 9930 it wouldn't work.
I damaged my USB port on my 9930 and needed to have it fixed. So I didn't "wear" it out, I got a couple of the docking chargers. Well you can see were this is going. I plug the solar charger into the docking station and BAM it charged the phone perfectly.

I've been using charging docks for awhile, they are handy and the second accessory that I buy with a new phone......wait a minute...you were in the wilderness with your son and scouts living off the land....hummm....your phone was supposed to be OFF, it would have held a charge for a couple of days if only used in case of an emergency....what kind of troop leader are you.... (only kidding)
