For me, the Treo I used eons ago have the 'forever' storage of my SMS massages, even for the 9000 the previous months SMS get deleted automatically after setting to 'forever'...

What is the capacity holding for the new 9900 anyone?

Also, do we have to do a constant quickpull with this new model?

Really? I receive 50 (data feed of stock market data) a day by sms!! I also send at least 20 a day..

I noticed after restoring my SMS's from my old Bold 9700 that straight away the 9900 was telling me I had to delete some SMS because the database was full. So I had to lose alot of my messages.

I have no idea what the limit is on the 9900/9930 but there must be one now. My 9700 had pretty much 18 months worth of sent and recieved SMS and never once complained...

Your Treo didn't have unlimited message storage, I had to clear out old messages on my 650 & 680 a couple of times.

I've over 4000 sms's on my phone, they date back to the day I got the phone.

I have put tick forever and max in the setting but still the sms get deleted .....
