having a issues with getting text messages from iphone folks. I was sent a text message at 10:09 and didn't get till 10:16 that is slow wife don't want to hear I didn't get it

Are all texts being slow? I would assume it's an issue with one of the networks rather than related to your handset

There both on sprint.. I sent message to another iphone and the first respond was slow, but after that they came pretty fast.

Just show the text message proof to your wife that they came slow with the time displaying and everything. This way she won't think you were ignoring her or lying to her.
