Default Silver bar above keyboard chipping on 9900

There is a small chip on the bar above the keyboard (the top one right below the trackpad) on my 9900. Does anyone know of any kind of silver paint I can use to paint over the black spot?

Same thing happened to me... sent it to the service centre. They got the entire keypad replaced!

    Sent from my BlackBerry 9900.

Actually its pretty common. I've seen 9900 with all 4 chrome lines on the keyboard completely peeled of. If it were me, ignore it until warranty is almost over. Then send it in. For some reason you don't have warranty, a new keyboard assembly isn't that expensive.

I believe it is out of warranty now, but I really don't think it is worth having to be without it while they fix it. I would prefer to just touch it up myself with some paint if anyone knows what would work on it.

I am not sure but touching it up might make it look worst. Matching this would be very hard and would last even a shorter period of time.

I dunno, you "could" try chrome or silver enamel modellers paint, but I'd be more inclined to swap out the keyboard.
