I have seen a number of posts where seidio has mentioned that they are not working on 9900/9930 high capacity battery. But today, found this when i was just browsing their online store..

Innocell 3000mAh Super Extended Life Battery

OMG 7.1 OS with this one will be....

Though this looks too bulky i am sure a lot of them will be looking out for this monster to be used with the mean machine.

Personally, an extended battery(may be 1750 - 2000 mAh) with same dimensions as the current official one would be awesome..

    Hi there.

Thanks for the update, looks nice and good fit, handy if your away on travels, however it kind of kills the looks of the phone.

If you want to keep the original battery door, go for the Momax 1400ah battery. This will give you around the same battery life of 9780 if used with OS 7.1.0.190+

I don't care for the size.
As long as the battery doesn't need a decoder and runs for atleast 24 hours on a charge! Amen!!!
The most needed scenario is when we have to travel across continents and there is no plug points accessible at airports.
Hunchback/whaleback/ugly/whatever... Please make this thingy last 24 hours at least.

    Amen!!!

I wish there is an option to have both the holster and the extended battery. At least a belt clip would be great. Oh, well... I can't have everything.

I'd settle for a 1400-1700mAh battery. 3000mAh makes the Bold look like a brick.

Coming from the 9650 and praying for an extended battery this thing looks like a brick!
The 9650 one was streamline but this seems like they didn't care about design on the battery door. Looks like the old treo 800w and 8330 ones I used to have.

Not sure if I'm going to buy one since I have 2 batteries for this phone now.

As others have posted I am hoping for a 1700-2000 one that fits the oem door.

Same here! Makes the 9930 look like a brick! I had the Seidio extended battery for my 9650 and loved it. Had a gel case that would fit it also. Now with my 9930 I have a second battery and just change them out. I also have the Seidio Active holster with their charging pod. This new Seidio extended battery will NOT work with these. I also was hoping for a 1700-2000 one that would still fit the oem door. So at this point.....I'm passing on this one.

    I don't care about looks...
Big battery is what I need..
    And NFC...
It's still not everyday usage technology...I can ignore it....
    ...
    Hope it comes soon..
    If I want a beautiful/ sleek phone...it won't serve my purpose..

The big thing for me is that there need to be cases made that will take the bigger battery.

I am a case guy and my phone is never without one.

Seidio need to make cases as well and I am sure thay will sell them by the bucketload.

Yea I could cram that extended battery on my 9650 into a defender and a commuter this may be a solid pass for me like I said. Unless they make a oversized oem one like they usually do.

Honestly though, this just ruins the dimensions of the phone completely. But yay for power enthusiats!
