I have a 9900 which soon I'm going to sell someone so all I wanted to ask is that by deleting everything on my phone and after that security wiping it would it be enough ? I mean is it safe for me now to hand my phone to a third person and is my data safe plus does security wiping also disintegrate my BB ID from the phone so that I can connect and integrate my BBID with some other BB device or do I have to do something else ???

    Thanks in advance

Should be enough. Dont give your SD card away though.

Do a security wipe, as it will also remove your BBID association to the device. I am not sure if you need to be on a network when you do it for the BBID association to that phone to be removed from the BlackBerry servers.

The network connection is not necessary for a wipe. When the new owner performs setup the BB servers will associate the phone with the new BBID at that point.
