So I have this phone for 11 days and the policy is 15 days. The back scratches just by looking at it... Very easily. I have a couple of scratches on the back but everywhere else is perfect.
Will rogers still give me a refund for this phone? Anyone encounter this before? Thanks

    read your contract
its 15 days or 30 minutes air time.

if you are within the guidelines they will refund you and cancel the contract.

im sorry you are so careless with your device.

policy differs by type of dealer. independent locations will set own policies such as 7 day 30/minutes.

Rogers is 15 days or 30 minutes of talk. But I never talk on it. I also bought it straight up and no contract. It is also unlocked....

He's not careless; the back scratches just holding it in your hand.
@ the OP...you want to return for refund because of the scratches?

I have decided to switch to the 9810. This is a nice device, but I had a 9800 before and think I should go to the 9810. I take care of everything and I left the 9900 on the desk and it scratched just take it off. Anywho, is rogers special about scratches on the device that they will not allow a refund?

I'm just guessing here, but as long as the scratches aren't obvious, you'll probably get away with it.

Yea. Mine has slight scratches too. Not an issue. I plan on putting it in a case this week. I would just buy another back cover its that bad?

I am pretty sure the holster did the scratching. And I am also sure they will use the phone as a loaner in the future instead of re-selling it. I guess I will find out. If not, then I will sell it! It is in high demand here in Toronto!

If the scratches aren't obvious, then you should be okay. And since you bought it outright, the 14 days only applies. The 30 mins applies if you signed on a 3 year contract. Good luck.

I read somewhere in the contract years ago that it the 14/30 is subject to it being returned in "like new" condition but I don't remember how that term was defined. Rogers will take it back almost no matter what in the 14 days. I don't think you'll have any type of issue.

It could as I've heard of them rejecting it but I don't know for sure.
