Twitter.com/jon4lakers and technobuffalo are saying the Bold 9900 is coming to Rogers August 9th. Seems legit, and this guy/site is pretty credible.

Very blurry and difficult to read, but I can possibly see a 9 in the blurred image, definitely a single digit.

I believe the wording says "Tentative launch date August 9"

I haven't read it on my computer, just my tiny blackberry screen because I'm at work. I believe the release dates for Bell/Telus are August 15th/19th, and Rogers typically has a few days on them with regards to GSM BlackBerries. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Just messaged my friend who works at a Wireless Wave in Vancouver and he did confirm that it was the 9th! No word on the pricing though, but he's gonna get back to me with that info!

Seems unlikable. Some people here on the forums have suggested a 22nd after they've spoken with reps.

We'll have to wait and see.

Just called my local Rogers store and the manager told me they should have it in next week.

spoke with a CSR yesterday while asking about the 6gb data plan and she mentioned that the 9900 was listed as $499 for outright purchase. I was surprised so I asked her to triple check and she was certain that it was $499 and not $549. I asked her how I could lock in at that price and she said that I had to go to a Rogers store to buy a phone outright.

I asked if there was a $50 mail in rebate and she said there is a rebate for everything but the iphone. So is the $499 rate simply $549 less the rebate? They should still be quoting the pre-rebate price no?

if i was to guess, i would say its 549 and then 50 rebate. primarily due to the released documents and just how rogers operates in general.

csr's are not always the brightest

I preorderes from Best Buy hopefully it will be the same price as above! Otherwise I will have to cancel the deposit. But yea would be sick to have a rebate too!

I don't think, this will be out by 9th because BestBuy is still trying to fix the pre-order system, which is blocked by RIM for some wired reason.

I don't care who gets it first, I just want Rogers to get it soon. Very soon. I don't understand how they can announce an entirely new blackberry lineup then leave their customes in the dark about when it will be available. Makes zero sense to me.

Should I still have a sliver of hope they'll be releasing them tomorrow for Rogers or is that completely out of the question and redirect all my hope/energy to the 13th/15th?
