    Hi Guys,

    I need some help with removing the IT policy off this phone... picked it up from kijiji locally. It has an ITpolicy that requires a password every step of the way and is annoying. Also for some reason, it won't let me connect my Gmail account that a follow up email says google sign-in prevented. All other email accounts work

    Can anyone guide me on how to do it? like what desktop manager version I need etc... Also I should mention I am not using a Pc or mac but Linux based s as my personal computer.

    Well the method explained here requires the use of Desktop Manager, can you run Windows programs on your box?

    Yea I DID hedge when I said it. I KNOW you can run some windows programs through Linux via an emulator, perhaps that can work?

    You must connect the phone to a PC and use BlackBerry Desktop to perform a factory reset to remove any existing enterprise accounts.

    If you're technical enough to run Linux, you should know how to get a copy of Windows running in VirtualBox and download BB Desktop Software on that, using USB passthru for your phone.
