    Hey Guys,

I just got my new BB 9930, one issue like many other verizon unlocked blackberrys.

Does anybody know how to get rid of it and fix the mobile phone number on it too. I tried the ##000000 and reset the number and clicked save but the phone did not reboot!

Anybody have anything I would be very grateful

You need the SPC code for this ... it is different from a regualar mep code to unlock the sim card. We provide this but can take a couple hours or so to get.

I think you missed a space in the dialed number. It should be
    #<space>#000000

I dialed above and it allowed me to change my number without any problems. BTW I am using unlocked VZW 9930 on ATT.

For those on Sprint or other CDMA carriers, try this at this guy's site.

Take a few hours I think and you will be given instructions on how to remove the need for activation message.

But how do we order the SPC code alone?

Hey guys, I have purchased an Verizon bold 9930 from overseas and it has already been unlocked, I am returning back to the states in couple weeks and I was wondering if I will be able to use the phone on at&t service. I have read many forums that in my case, I will have trouble with using the internet and bbm services and etc.
It seems as some of you guys like maxthon were able to use the verizon unlocked bold 9930 on the AT&T service. Please respond so I can return the product if it's not worth it. Thanks guys

I unlocked with a code from some other site. The phone is unlocked but the 'Activation Required' message remains. Do I need to buy a new code from freethisberry.com to get rid of that as well or is there some other way?

You will need to purchase a MSL/SPC code. The code you got to unlock your device is a MEP code.
