I had two 9900s, a white beauty and a black beauty that I sold via eBay not long ago. Now I'm regretting the decision and want to find one again but I don't want a refurb, used or otherwise played with unit. Blackberry.com will not ship to Canada, and ca.blackberry.com does not offer the 9900 anymore. Does anyone know how/where I could get a brand new one? I also looked on eBay and Amazon but no luck. Oh and I'm in Canada, I don't want a Verizon/AT&T/T-Mobile model, only Unlocked or Canadian carriers.

I had to laugh at the value of the 1 item in your cart $2011. That's one expensive 9900!
Seriously though, I do not see the same items. Can you provide the link to how you got there? Thanks.

Well I have a Q10 and like it but there is just something about the 9900 that I still think makes it a great device. The apps I wanted were there and for the most part worked fine, but this device as a PHONE is second to none (best call quality and speakerphone, IMHO). People tend to overlook that these are phones we are buying and if they're no good as a phone, then they're no good (to me anyway) as a multimedia device.

Thanks, as much as I'd like to have one, I don't want to pay $430. Oh well, lesson learned.

You can get some on Swappa. I much prefer Swappa to eBay or any other online outfit.

Buy Blackberry Bold 9900 (Unlocked) in US > Swappa

That's great to know, however I'm in Canada and don't want a US-carrier BB. Thanks for the tip, though.

I'm in the same boat. I have a Z30 and now I'm looking for a 9900. I miss my white 9900, one of my favorites. Looking forward to the classic.

That listing is a little bit suspicious to me, but maybe I'm just skeptical. Seller says factory-sealed, however it shows a Rogers box and seller says unlocked. How can it be unlocked without opening the seal and taking the phone out? Something's rotten in the state of Laval, if you ask me.

I have a 9900 I got for my oldest for Christmas. Transferred all the info from 9700 to 9900, and unfortunately removed the orig BlackBerry screen and backing film at that time, only to be told an all touch device would be preferred over the 9900. There may have been a trial phone call just to confirm it worked with the sim card in, but the phone has never been in daily use. It is locked to Rogers in Canada. I was going to post it in the Marketplace for $100 plus shipping. Would prefer to hand deliver anywhere along the Lakeshore West GO line between Aldershot and Union Stn, or Square 1 in Mississauga. Does this interest you? I can post pics later today.

Why are people scared of ebay.

I just bought a Blackberry 9930 for $26. NOW BEFORE You mention that it's not on your carrier. remember that on ebay unlock codes are in the single digits. as in $5

    and they work.

and they work for all carriers.

So go out and enjoy! Just remember your carrier needs to have a blackberry plan (that's common in canada) but I remember the last time one of the cheap carriers charged me an EXTRA $10 for the "first month" but kept charging me that every year for the BIS package.

    Enjoy!

Wish I could help you more -- so I just bought a 9930 direct from Verizon. While you don't want that -- is it possible to buy one "linked to a carrier" and then "de-lock" it or whatever they call it? If so, I am not sure which carrier you should look at, but this might be an option. Also, what about just buying one that is not tied to a carrier? Can RIM/BB direct help you? I'd consider calling them.

I guess new/used from a "re-seller" could work. Ebay? Online? To each their own.

    Good luck.
