Agreed with CGI. I'm with Telus so it's H+ or nothing, so when I'm visiting friends in the county just between two cell towers my 9780 barely got a signal at a certain spot in the house. My 9900 however, doesn't get anything anywhere in the building. I still have full bars wherever I go normally, but it seems there's about a very small % drop in reception.
Running the 9930/7.0.0.362 (B1702) on VZW in always sunny Carmel In with perfect reception at all times.......wifi leaves a little to be desired.......

I have the same conclusion. I bought a 9900 to replace my 9800 and it would not work in my house so I returned it. I bought a signal booster for the house and was able to get full reception so I bought the 9900 again. It works fine in the house now, but for where I live it is not as good as the 9800 or 9700.
I live in the country and when I get into the city, it works perfectly well. I find the battery lasts much longer when I am in an area of good reception.
Before I bought my Bold on Friday I made a similar thread for my area. And to quote one of the responses, "...it's like night and day" coming from my Storm.
I had a solid 3-4 bars on 3G on my 9780s. Now with both the 9900 and 9860 I get the constant SOS - GMS - EDGE - H+ bouncing. This is at home. In the office I get great H+ coverage always. This should be fixed in later OS releases (the 9000 was the same at release (Rogers that is)). Same thing with wifi. They are still tweaking the code for best battery life and radio power. This "should" be sorted out in a few more OS leaks, IF WE EVER GET MORE!!!
