My friend purchased BlackBerry 9900 phone on ebay and it turned out to be a Qwertz phone keyboard. When he upgraded os to 7.1.0.205 the mapping changed to a Qwerty keyboard

He has since then changed the keyboard and is happy that he has a Qwerty phone.

The only problem now is that he is now stuck on this is version and cannot upgrade the is without the keyboard switching back to Qwertz

Is there a tech guy out there, who can tell me which is file to delete to preventive phone from installing the Qwertz mapping on the phone. I have tried deleting Germany support, but this doesn't work?
