Hey guys,

I'm still patiently waiting for T-Mobile to release the 9900, but until then, why not have a few of my questions answered so I know what to expect when I buy the phone?

My question was whether any of the current owners could chime in on whether the new touch feature on the bold causes you to Hang up on people, Put the phone into speaker mode, or random number presses when you put the phone to your face to during regular calls. This problem has been plaguing me constantly with my current android phone, so I was wondering if this problem exists with the 9900.

Thanks for the help, guys! Only a few more weeks until T-Mobile hopefully starts selling theirs!

Mine doesn't hang up on anyone and I'm not any more careful with it during a call than I am with my 9780. Most other smartphones do have that issue from the ones I've played with, but this BB doesn't seem to. As soon as I put the phone to my cheek to talk, the screen blanks out within a few seconds...no hang ups.

In my months of using the 9900, I have never had that happen.

You can lock the screen when you make a call to stop that from happening
