My 9930 bricked out last week. I had Sprint activate an old Curve I had and now have a replacement 9930 I want to switch to. I did have a Backup of the old 9930 a few months old but I believe it's a full backup.

If I want to restore that to my 'new' 9930, should I activate on Sprint first, then try the Restore, or does it matter which step I do first? Is there any reason to just start with the fresh system the newer 9930 has loaded on. It and just reinstall things individually as needed?

    Thanks,

    Mike

If you have a computer with Blackberry Desktop installed, use the Device Switch option. I can't remember the exact steps, but it will guide you appropriately.

Ok, I remember that option- thanks- but does it matter if I activate the new Bold on Sprint first?

    Hope this q makes sense.
