    I used to be able to search my contact list by typing a letter (e.g. "L") and it would get me to the spot in my contact list starting with "L" and then I could scroll to find the one I wanted.

    This function has somehow disappeared. When I type in a letter, I get a few contacts that have "L" somewhere in the name and then an option for extended search which doesn't give me what I want anyway. I wind up having to scroll through the entire contact list to find what I want.

    What happened here ?

    Definitely need BIS for the e-mail to function (including BBM).
    WAP/Cellular alone would work for web browsing (to access webmail), but you wouldn't get the full experience.
