problem opening videolinks through facebook app
Dear,
I got a 9900 with 7.1.0.569 with facebook 3.2.0.12. The issue I'm being faced with is the following:
When I'm in my facebook app I sometimes come across videos posted by my friends. When I click on the link for the video (usually youtube videos), it opens up my browser and I get redirected. Immediately after that I get the message "The item you selected cannot be displayed. Do you wish to save the item?"
Additional info: I'm connected to a wifi network.
What could be causing this?

I get that a lot too and I don't know how to fix it. Sorry. I was hoping someone on here did. What I do is just copy the link from the mobile FB site and then paste it in the browser. Lame but it works.

Yea I've had that problem for over a year or more. Crappy Facebook app sucks

Maybe this should be reported to RIM? Is this a problem encountered by many?

Install YouTube app for BB.

I know I can install the youtube app. But thats not the point. The ability to open up a link directly from my facebookapp exists. I want to be able to use it and I can't. We integrate an option that doesn't work properly just to say afterwards "hey but you can use another app for it". That's just not the way it should be

exactly. If you get the links there is no problem. But opening it by clickin in the facebook app is a no go
