Hi, 5 letters on my blackberry (W,S,G,H,L) are tempermental.

sometimes they work fine
sometimes they dont work at all
and sometimes when i press them it types "hl" instead

when i press the centre scroll square button, it also types "hl"

i can use the button to scroll but when pressed it just types "hl"

has anyone had this issue before and know how i can fix it?

do i need a new keypad or isit something todo witht he software?

Sounds like a hardware/keyboard problem.

Has your device ever got wet?

I would try re loading the OS if that doesn't work get a replacement.

Hi, i bought the phone second hand, the lady i got it off swears down it hasnt had any water damage BUT she never told me the phone was faulty in the first place so who knows what else she is lieing about.

If it has got water damage, what would be the solution to fixing the problem.

atm it is only selling for £112 on ebay and i know a working one sells for £200+ so im loosing out on nearly £100 atm which is why i want a cheap fix so i can sell it as working.

i havn't got a clue about how to restore the os or anything, would a phone shop do it for me if i paied them?
