    Hi, I just bought a BB9900 from ebay in my country (Argentina). The problem I have is that everything works but not connected to the BIS. I'm using the same chip I had with my BB9810 with BIS enabled, but not connected. I called my local dealer and they tell me that everything is enabled, but nothing happens. no Blackberry logo appears and does not connect to the internet, except for wifi
    Any idea what could be the problem?

    Have carrier refresh/resend service books?

    I had exactly the same issue with my BB 9900, I am in Australia.

    Some 9900s just would NOT connect to BIS on certain carriers, I am still not sure why. Your phone is very likely to be working fine but incompatible with the carrier. Try to change to another carrier.

    I spoke with my carrier and try to resend my service books, but the trouble is that cannot connect.
