Just wondering how much do you think the price is going to be for the blackberry bold touch? price with no contract & just the phone itself? price with another full 2yr upgrade? price of a partial early upgrade? (t-mobile) btw...

My guesses: Price with no contract $499. Two year contract $199. Partial early upgrade $299.

i think it will be $599 without contract. kinda like the torch or storm series. touchscreen BB's seem to be that much when they come out

I paid $499 full retail for the Torch at at&t. I am thinking about the same for the bold touch.

Honestly, I'm hoping that the price point is somewhere around $199 with an agreement. Then again, I'm also hoping the phone is going to be out before August. At this rate, I'd pay extra just so they'll release it.

But to be be brutally honest, I'd pay whatever they ask. I just need a new BlackBerry.

I really want this phone, I just think though that it's a shame that it may make the price go up a lot, instead of taking the place of the 9780. Especially as the specs (well, are very nice), but will be the same as devices at lower prices.

599? No way, as poster said above 9700 was 499 on ATT so Bold Touch I'm betting 499 retail or 199 w/ 2 year contract. Let's compare apples to apples. There's no reason really why it'd be 599.
