Hey, does anyone have a list of the pre-installed applications on a telus bold 9900? I'm trying to factory restore after playing around with it for the last several months and can't seem to find a list of what exactly it came with out of the box (not looking to do a security wipe, but a full reload).

Why not do a security wipe, then wipe it with BBSAK, and then install the latest Telus O/S?

That's if you are selling it and not keeping it though.

I don't think it matters which OS you load, the bloat ware is pushed to the device isn't it? (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Yes, the stock icons would be pushed by carrier, then any apps you want downloaded. Even if you deleted the icons, they'd just come back.

No need to wipe at all if you want to load an OS. The act of installing includes one anyway.

    You're not wrong
The 'preinstalled apps' aren't apps, they're service book controlled links pushed to your phone by your carrier.

Phill is right... I have Telus Bold 9900 and all those icons are service book pushed content. If you look under Web Browser's bookmarks, you will also find Telus pushed links which cannot be deleted no matter what OS version you run.

It won't take up much space on the phone and you can always hide them. That's what i did.

So after wiping the device using BBSAK I got an 'error 507'; I did manage to get the app load up and running to reload the OS, but I still am curious what applications are installed by default on a brand new bold 9900 (say if I bought one today and turned it on out of the box)? There are options in the loader to install/not install a number of different apps (ex. wikitude, music store, plans application, etc.)
