Something a little out of the ordinary: while browsing the interwebz I landed on a website I hadn't been to in awhile; having forgotten the password I clicked on password reset, and a hearbeat after I clicked "send" my 9930 chirped. Out of habit I picked it up to look even though I was waiting on the same email to hit my desktop, only nothing was happening when I touched buttons. Then it hits me:

I had turned it off to charge for the night.

Yes, it's a bug; still made me smile - even powered down it's still trying to do its job.

Was it completely powered off or "off" as in standby?

Technically standby; it'll power itself back on in the morning. Either way, it's not supposed to be doing anything other than the LED blinking orange while it charges.
