I am about to buy a 9900, and was wondering if there is a podcast app? I am not new to blackberry, but it's been awhile. Thanks

9900 has a podcast app that comes with phone. Loved it.

depends where you live i am i the uk and although i have a podcast app on my 9900 it is merely a player. i cannot subscribe or download podcasts from the app. I have to download them manually in the browser.

I believe you can set it to download while on network, and wifi only.

I just added the rss feed from website, and weekly subscriptions downloaded as podcasts became available. You can set the download method to your preferred method.

I've been using Podtrapper on my 9930 and 9650 before that. Works great. Can set download preferences for wifi or cell network, only on charger, how many podcasts to download and hold, order to download, and lots of other preferences. It remembers where you left off on a podcast, what podcasts to put in playlists, with multiple playlists if you want them. You can add podcast feeds by URL or by looking for them in a directory.

I'm using a side loaded version on my new Z10 and I'm not as happy with it, but I wholeheartedly recommend it for a 9900.

Agreed. PodTrapper is definitely a great choice for the 9900, and much better than the OEM BlackBerry app.
