Played with a Rogers 9900... My findings.
I've finally had a chance to play with one for a few hours. My friend purchased hers (contract) and I was helping setup the phone for her (made her convert from an iPhone).
I'm not sure what people are ranting about, but compared to the previous BlackBerries, this phone is the Bugatti Veyron of BlackBerries.
The screen is brilliantly crisp, so clear and sharp.
The keyboard just tells you to type more!
Thin/form factor: It's the beautiful old Bold, only refined.
In the end RIM did improve all of the things I find important and thus can't wait to have my very own Bold.
There is definitely room for improvement. I feel like the phone is far better than its UI. I think RIM should create a better UI (not sure how or what, but just my thought). Other than that... Spectacular!
Long live almighty Bold! - 08-11-2011, 07:31 PM #2
I feel the same way about the phone. Battery life is still questionable for me though, but it's starting to settle into a more familiar drainage pattern.
As for the UI, I'm pretty excited about the themes and the new possibilities with the GPU acceleration.

Totally agree. I'm pretty sure a nice new Today theme would look awesome!
