Hey all,

Has anyone been able to get PlatinumTel data/MMS on the Bold 9930, or any other BB for that matter? PlatinumTel uses T-Mobile's GSM networks, and I've had no problems getting SMS and voice on my unlocked Sprint 9930. I tried solutions in these threads, as well as PTel and T-Mobile's APN settings.

I just switched to PTel, so I'd even consider going back to my old Bold 9000 until I can pick up a Q10, but from what I've read PTel and BB don't get along too well. Thanks in advance!

Hi there, welcome to CrackBerry! There are things you can do with hacked service books, but you would not be able to use your Bold the way it is intended to until you get a full blown BlackBerry Internet Service on your phone through your carrier who ever that may be.
