I was using Vlingo on my last 9930 when the phone decided to have charging problems. My work swapped out my phone and now I'm trying to get Vlingo to work again but am having permission problems. I have deleted and reinstalled Vlingo with no success.

Are there any hidden files that linger that I need to remove to do a clean install of the program?

    Thanks for any help.

If you are using a company device you might have some restrictions. You would need to contact the IT guy. Some companies don't allow 3rd party applications on their devices.

Thanks. I realize that there are some restrictions but it was working on my last two devices and haven't had an issue until this new BB. Just wondering if there are any cache or permission files that could be lingering.

I had a similar problem with IT Policy issues. My IT at work was no help. The solution was to remove IT policy with BBSAK and reactivate. Note: this completely wipes the device, back everything up first. Don't restore until the enterprise activation is complete. Good luck.
