    Can anyone advise me as to when the OS 7.1 will be made available in Australia? I'm currently with Vodafone and am assuming that the 7.1 OS will be made available through the carrier as opposed to RIM, is that correct? Thanks.

    You can download any gsm 7.1 and delete the vendor XML file and load it. There's probably hundreds of threads about it on this site.
