I'm a noob, and I recently upgraded to the OS 7.1 921 about a month or so ago. But now my volume button doesn't work, and starting today my web browser icon disaapeared (can't access the net). I tried a battery pull a few times and that doesn't work.

What should I do? and if it involves changing the OS, I need instructions on how to do that.

Please help.

you can try resending your service books to get the browser icon back.

as for the volume issue, are you sure it isnt hardware related?

Was it like in March? Since then there have been many other releases, working good or fine or fair or bad, depending on the localization, users, user-errors etc.

You would have to check out the threads here in CB forums. You did not say whether you have 9900 or 9930, so I will not point you to the direct threads.

Yes, I downloaded back around March or so, and I have a 9900 on At&t. I preferable want to keep the mobile hotspot, too.

you can run the keyboard test. you can check in the thread specific to your os version. you can install one of the latest releases.

I have a 9900 on AT&T running .267 just like you and my phone is flawless. .267 is the best OS I have tried and you will keep the hotspot feature too. I recommend a wipe and fresh install. That should solve the problem.

I'm lost, I downgraded my OS to the regular 7.0 and I still don't have my internet browser, and no matter what I do I can't seem to upgrade my OS - I'm using crackmem, but my DM doesn't recongnize any updates when I open it?
