    When you delete the vendor.xml file to install a leaked OS
    what happen in the future when an official updated OS is released?
    Will DM automatically notify you of the update without the vendor file?

    The vendor.xml file has nothing to do with notifications. Fact is, you don't even need to delete it for most leaks. The one for 7.1.0.267 contains:

    <vendorsrc version="0.0.0.0">

    </vendorsrc>

    The vendor.xml file in a leaked OS is usually just an empty shell, and doesn't need deleting. It only needs deleting if you're updating to an official OS release from another carrier.

    The vendor file is only deleted from your PC, not your phone, and this just enables DM to install an OS that isn't from your carrier.

    DM uses your device's vendor ID to search for official OS releases from your carrier, not the vendor file. DM will still notify you of a new carrier release, but if the leaked OS you're using is a higher release than the official one available, then it only will show as a recommended downgrade.

    You will however not be notified for any OTA carrier OS updates, unless you're using the latest official OS from your carrier.

    Hope that made sense...
