So far so good with the Mic issue on AT&T. It seems resolved with this build.

This is great, now the next question for AT&T users: does hotspot work ( if you have a tethering plan)????

I tried different combinations and all doesn't work. WIPE doesn't work, so I did a factory reset and it doesn't work. My last try is a factory reset + wipe and see if it work. Otherwise, I am just going to give up and ignore it.

    Hi there,

Just confirming that 437 does NOT support Qwertz German keyboard. Handy if you want to switch your 9900 from Qwertz German to Qwerty UK/US.

All you have to do is upgrade to 437, install English only language (Not German) and change the keyboard to Qwerty for around 20.00 and all works great.

We now have Three 7.1 Qwerty only Software conversion files, 7.1.0.190, 7.1.0.205 and now 7.1.0.437

Who said that changing the keyboard mapping was hard wired and not possible?

You're doing a factory reset as in the one where you type in resettofactory in Windows command prompt right?

IT Policy is still enabled. I wipe my device using BBSAK. Reinstall the OS. Then I go to Device and Status Information, key in BUYR. IT Policy still enabled.

Next I did a factory reset but the IT Policy is still enabled.

    A factory reset should suffice.

[Update]: Still doesn't work. IT Policy is still enabled. Could it be the things that I shrink out affect it?

    Hi there,

Been testing 437 for 3 days, very smooth, fast and stable. Not bothered with battery saving module, always have Backlght to 10 and time out to 20.

Swapped to radio file 205, battery life seems very good!

    Thanks

NB the best combination for me is 7.1.0.437 with (190) radio file, best battery life, Wi-Fi and 2G/3G signal combination

Finally I got the IT Policy removed. Follow the instructions from BB Knowledge base KB18998-How to reset the BlackBerry smartphone to factory defaults

Only this will remove the IT Policy

I don't think so, try BB Boss or BBH tool to do a factory reset + wipe your device, personally I don't use BBSAK anymore since OS 7.

That's not a factory reset, it's just a security wipe.

Well I tried .437 and lasted about 20 minutes before UPgrading back to .428

Sorry, but this build is a joke!

    No Media Server
    No BlackBerry Tag
    No Battery Saving Mode
    Ancient app versions
    Lack of resources
    Sticking data icon
Unable to open any pictures folders in Media
Hotspot SSID not remembered after reboot

I don't mind putting up with the odd bug, but this is ridiculous! All of the above were fixed way back in .267

Good luck to those of you sticking with this OS, you obviously have far more patience than me.

    WOW !!!

I don't think that I have ever seen an OS that has divided opinions as much as this one has.

People seem to either love or hate it, no middle ground this time.

Giving it a miss on what I have read so far, also comes too soon after updating to .428 for me which is performing well so far.
