I guess it's telling the truth? You're using an HSPA network, which is 3G.

Not so much that I don't trust it, but what I've read here made me doubt it.

Something I realized, almost every 9900 reacts differently to every OS, so I'm just going to give it a shot and see what happens. Thanks for the info fabio1

what java do you use to combine with 190 or 205?

dunno why in one day i am using 437, my bb reboot twice. but got to admit 437 is very smooth dan good signal locking for my bb. got any idea what java can be combine with 437 .sfi?

currently try using 391 & 318(.sfi), still searching the best combination for swap.

Using 7.1.0.437 OS and 7.1.0.205 Radio file, no problem with this OS. Back up phone, do a wipe and re-install with desktop manager?

I think parental control is implemented using policy mechanism....
    ....
But what if you remove responsible cods for parental control.. And perform a security wipe...
    ...
    Search..

    Or
    Platform.alx
    For more details...

having .437 installed for about a week now. Yesterday light usage from 09:00 till 23:00 with 86% of battery left. Turned the phone off and switched it on at 09:00 this morning. Still 84% by now. Using the GOLD. Idle drain is very nice. I think even below 1%

Can you explain what you mean by custom shrunken? I run on AT&T on their latest official update, is there an American version of Zocster's UK Bundle that I need to find somewhere?

    Thanks.

    Correct,

Straight swap in UMTS folder and No errors. Have updated 3x 9900 Handsets with 437 Java and 205 SFI.

    Very stable, reliable and fast!

This depends on your carrier. There is not a straight forward yes or not answer.
In my case the best signal radio file is .428.... but I know other people are having a good experience with .437.

My suggestion... give it a try...

haven't followed this whole thread as much as i probably should. installed .437 25may. not getting a full day from any charge. have suffered a couple (just 2) random reboots accessing apps. this happened most recently trying to get directions from google maps. this morning, battery reached the point where the radio turned off with the accompanying flashing yellow light. battery indicator, however, showed the battery as full.

    just sayin!

Thanks fabio1, this combo is great... with .205 SFI, signal locking is faster and signal strenght is also stronger, I think this combo blows .428 out of the water...
