downloaded and installed via DM. did not wipe. running on an att 9900.
.402 sucked for me bc of the mic issue. have been using .391
got an error after the restore:
The following database(s) could not be fully restored to your device:
"OMA DM" 0 of 1 entries restored
doesn't appear that anything is missing from the restore, so i won't worry. any thoughts?
mic issue appears fixed! on att 9900s!!!
pop on restart is still there, but who cares
startup is slow because of IT policy, but I barely restarted on .391 because it was so stable for me
needed to resend service books for email to work. no issues with bis
will report on battery life and app compatibility over the next few days....Thanked by 2:nitinparmar44 (05-23-2012), toobs623 (05-23-2012)

Maybe it's just my connection, but I'm noticing a lag on this site. For the second time today, I posted only to see a bunch of other replies after mine that weren't there before I posted. I don't type THAT slowly. Never seen that before. Strange.

to me : upgrading is always fun.
When I feel new os is not good, just downgrade to the last good os.
anyway, how do you know if the new os is better or not unless u try it your self since no 9900 exactly the same quality ???
Just do it man, upgrade it...but do the upgrade in a right way...
Have fun guys...Metal Forever

OS installed fine and everything worked great EXCEPT... the @$%#ing mic issue for AT&T users like myself is still there!!! WTF?! Guess it's another downgrade for me. I don't understand how an OS is made official with a bug that huge. If you are an AT&T user, avoid at all costs!

What mic glitch is everyone talking about?
The popping sound has been gone on my phone since .302. Its strange how other phones have different experiences. Currently my .402 is running really smooth... Another strange occurence since I've been hearing all bad things about it.
My biggest problem is the boot time, 10 f-ing minutes! That's insane for a phone to boot up. I'm guessing this has to do with the IT that everyone is talking about? - 05-23-2012, 12:07 AM #64
Updated porsche design theme

Upgraded from .391, the installation went smooth, and everything works Ok....so far so good. The signal strenght seems a little bit better than .391.

DLNA is working?

I'll be updating my experience within a few weeks to see how good this settles in, because i'm wiping and reloading clean, with the new OS this time around. Then, it'll all depend on the new settings being put in place. Tired of the IT policy that found it's way onto my blackberry and making it near impossible to update or install anything.

Hate to ask but... How the do you get the firewall and some other security options freed from the stupid "padlock" restriction? I wiped and got rid of the IT policy, but I still cannot change those options.

i think .342 is the best 7.1 so far. i sometimes use my bb for a week without a reboot and it's the only os out of them all, that is exactly the same on day 5 as on day 1. .402 was a disaster and .391 would become unusable after a day and a half. yeah .342 isn't the fastest os but i find it to be the most stable from all of the 7.1 os's. it's bummer it doesn't work that well for you.

With 391 I am back to normality: responsivness, battery and speed are much more stable than .402 and 342.
