Just loaded it via DM over leaked .205. So far so good. Things seem snappy, and .342 doesn't have the streaming problem that .267 had (where you'd get two slightly out-of-sync versions of the same stream from, say Radio Paradise).

Battery life is also looking good. It's been five minutes and my battery isn't dead yet!

What the! Do you not use ANY apps at all, no calls at all, and no emails? Maybe a few texts? This used to be the case with BlackBerry 9700.

hahaha! I have 3 email in my BB, BB news auto refresh every 3 hours, Tapatalk, Xweather push every 3 hours, FB, Molome, Tune In Pro, Shazam, BBM and BB Protect.

It depend how you use the phone, my less activity in day. Just checking FB and tapatalk sometime but BBM directly from 7PM till 1 or 2 Am everyday with wifi connect.

Tapatalk and Molome was the battery drainer! But can help without them in my phone.

Chill! Its depend on how you use it the phone! And this is the best.

Ignore the troll above...of course you can install it on a 9900 from another network provider. Just make sure you delete the Vendor files.

clearly he/she is lazy... any people who want to do upgrade like this should read infos about it , and all those stuff is very clear on sticky. if he/she even need to ask bout this, he/she better not do it. plain and simple.

Anyone having issues on Blackberry Appworld... all information on "My World" is missing and on "Installed" apps it says "you don't have any applications from App World installed" how is it possible??? I have all my apps and all are working fine. Is this a bug issue on this version?

    Thanks.

I've found that there's a fairly significant memory leak with .342. After a battery pull or reset, I have about 207 MB free. That goes down to 170 MB within a day, and the phone starts to get laggy. It's not a big deal for me to do a reset every day or so, but I didn't have to do this with previous versions of 7.1. I wiped the device before installing .342, which I almost never do. I don't see how that could cause the problem, but it's the only other thing that's different from normal. Battery life has been good--a bit better than .267 but not dramatically so.

I have this problem often on my phone, running app world beta version, after a few battery pulls and some time everything just seems to work all of a sudden.

Are you talking about this version of the OS or on all OS versions?

Don't forget to delete the Vendor .xml file (s) if it's your first time.

I only found one in the app loader locateion in my download.

Yes, AT&T makes you subscribe to an additional data plan. On .267 the files allowed Hotspot without this additional data plan.

See if the update is showing up on DM, if it is then off you go, just as good as using app loader.
