Last night, I noticed my phone was getting a little slow. After I sent a text, I powered down the phone (using the end/power key), and when the phone went dark, I popped the back panel, took the battery out, counted to 30, put it back in, and turned the phone back on.
As soon as my phone came back on, I got 4 distinct text message alerts, but my text inbox only showed one new message. I thought it might be a fluke because the one message I could see looked complete. This morning, out of curiosity, I looked at my phone usage with my cellular provider found that & I did indeed receive 4 text messages (from that same number that my BB only showed one).

So, does anyone have any idea what went on, or where these messages might actually be stored on my phone?

Other info: I have a 9900 I bought a year ago, I back up & sync every 2-3 days. As far as I know, I haven't dodged any software updates, so I think I'm up to date.
