i have bought and updated my bold 9900 to os 7.1 bundle 2061 (v7.1.0.714 platform 5.1.0.532)

today i tried to check for new update but no update....tried by software desktop by OTA by web but no luck

when check this forum i found many versions after mine

how to update my device ???

Well you can download the latest OS for the said device [9900] which is 7.1.0.923 (B2534). If you're not tech shy and now your way, you can also shrink the OS and then load it after that as well. [whole different ball game]

Alternatively, you can download the latest OS and just delete RIM/BBRY vendor file(s), plug into DM and you should be prompted for an upgrade!

The vendor file(s) are located in program files(x86)/research in motion/app loader

and there is another one if you use Windows 7, the second one is normally hiding away in C/Users/"yourname" (and by this I mean whatever your logon is)/AppData/Roaming/Research In Motion/BlackBerry/Loader.

As for me, I am running a hybrid mix of 7.1.0.923 from the BerryLicio.us crew on my 9900.
