No NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile on 9930 on Sprint
I think it's funny that I have the so called top of the Bold line 9930 on Sprint and NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile is Not supported on my device. Seem's the more you spend the less you get.

This would be Sprint's fault and nothing to do with RIM, contact Sprint and express your concerns.
Perhaps life is just that...a dream and a fear. - 02-25-2012, 06:49 AM

I know it's not RIM's fault, I think it's strange that the icon is on the phone plus it worked when I first got it. I'm more into F1 than NASCAR I use the app for when Im with friends who follow NASCAR.

It's a human evolution thing. As you go farther north, people tend to be smarter.

Hey palomartian,
Why don't you keep your stereotyping comments to yourself? I'm from up north and moved south a few years ago and have never regretted it. Lots of stupid people from the north too. I'd assume you're one of them.
To get back on topic now...this app DID work last year on my 9930 and I used it weekly. All affected should call Sprint to voice your displeasure. I know I will.
I did use my Playbook last night to use the track pass scanner on the NASCAR.com website. Not sure if you have a playbook but it worked pretty well. - 02-28-2012, 06:52 PM #8
Pretty sure its only available for android devices through sprint.

No self-respecting redneck would be caught dead with a BlackBerry.

Sorry, just expressing my support for palomartian's unappreciated humor.

Be bold. Be pantless. Then go take a nice long nap. - 02-28-2012, 07:39 PM #10
The only thing lamer than nascar is drag racing.

Yup nascar mobile is only supported for android phones for now. It was discussed in the sprint forums. They said ios may come this year but no promises.
So looks like if you care about the scanner radio as much as me you'll have to buy the trackpass and stream it on your playbook during the race. Lol
