    I have tried every popular barcode scanner for my 9900 but none of them work! Are there any other free alternatives?

    "Scan life" worked pretty good for me, but if you have BlackBerry app world, it has a qr code scanner (from BlackBerry app world home screen, hit menu button, and choose "scan barcode) - it even has directions on how to do it.
