Hey there, is it possible for the nfc application to scan a barcode directly on the laptop screen ?? Or does the nfc only work when the barcode is on physical paper? I tried to slide the back of my blackberry bold 9900 on the laptop screen with a given barcode for a website but it had no response at all.

Nfc is a tag, not a "barcode" that's something totally different. With a barcode you need to scan with app world... Open app world hit meun and click on scan a barcode. Its kinda like taking a pic.
NFC is like paypass I don't know the technical stuff
