- Hi guys,
I got a new contract with O2 on Sunday to get the BB 9900. I am currently having some slight problems with it though.
My first problem is the battery life of it.. I went to bed last night with 77% of battery left (11pm) and woke up this morning (6.30am) not by my alarm, but by my phone vibrating telling me I had low battery, so I look at the battery percentage and it tells me im on 1%. This doesn't seem right to me, does anyone else have this problem?
My second problem is that I had my number changed over yesterday and now I can't chat with one of my friends on BBM anymore. It started off that I could message her but she couldn't message me. I could see that the message had been delivered and read but when she tried to message back, it came up with a black cross.
We tried everything to fix it. Battery pulls, re-registering the devices, getting the host route tables(?), service books, adding both PINs, emails & NFC'ing the devices and to no avail.
I called O2 up last night and they said that all my services are running fine, so I can only guess that this is an error to do with either her device or her BIS?
Has anyone ever had this problem before? Anyone know a solution to fix this? We are both on the BB9900 and both on the latest version of OS7.1 as well.
Any help would be great!
Many thanks,

- as for the bbm issue, wipe the device and do a clean install of the os.
as for battery, run the device analyzer and do the battery test. it will tell you what is causing the battery leak. i will say that when i was on older 7.0 os, i had a pretty bad battery leak. maybe do a newer 7.1 os?
