Used to have a Bold 9000 but after the long wait, finally got my hands on a Bold 9900.
I bought it on eBay and the phone was advertised as "Brand new unlocked". Got the phone this morning, sure enough everything seemed perfect, put my simcard in, turned the phone on and it's asking for a 'Network MEP Code'?
Does this mean the phone wasn't locked and the guy ripped me off?

you can get the unlock code at ebay for $0.99. I have unlocked many phones from there. And they respond quickly.
