Back story:
Bold had been working great untill my mom accidentally threw my pants, which had my bold in the pocket, into the washing machine. The phone was probably in the machine for about 2 mins max when I realized and pulled it out. I immediately removed the battery and the sim card and dried it off with paper towel. I put the phone in a bowl of rice for 1 day and then let it sit out for another day. Overall, i let everything dry for about 2 days.

My problem:
I put the battery back in and surprisingly everything worked, screen was fine, keys worked, camera, speaker, etc. The only problem is that the phone can no longer hold a signal. I usually get a few bars on 3g for a few seconds to a few minutes, but for the majority of the time there is no signal.

My questions is how can i fix this? is there a way to repair/replace the antenna that might have been damaged, or is my BB toast. By the way, I tested the sim card in another phone and it was fine so the problem is definitely with the phone.

Well that's very weird, go to the some shop replace the antenna that should be it i think, since its a hardware issue if its a software which its not you could just switch to another OS and everything could be fine.
