I'm getting very irritated. My reception is being ridiculous! One min I have half to full bars, the next I am sitting at "sos". What gives? Updating to .579 solved a lot of that, but its starting up again and its ridiculous!

Before I updated to 579, just sitting the phone in my office I would go from full bars to "sos". After the upgrade, that's 90% fixed
But yes I'm sitting here in night class and the phone is not moving and I'm going from 2-3 bars, to none, in a matter of no time. I'm getting frustrated. It does this in other locations also.
As far as 7.1, I have a 9900 and I'm a bit on edge to upgrade to 7.1 until bbdm tells me its available... Will it fix radio issues?

Well I've only had 2 outages since I uninstalled it. What gets me is I go from full 4g bars, to 1bar, to none, to "sos", to 3g half bars, and after a minute full 4g bars... And the phone isn't moving!!! This is unreal and not acceptable. I'm going to look into getting 7.1 on my phone!

Where can I find more info on the upgrade to 7.1? Because I see a lot of iffy things on it, and I'm hesitant to do something that BBDM isn't popping up for me...
Before I uninstalled the Weather Channel app, I had NUMEROUS "sos" outages... in a much shorter span than my 2 "sos" outages after removing weather channel..
